But we’ve found it’s the little things that really help set us apart: clean & comfortable waiting area, stores located in convenient locations, free coffee & snacks, multiple ways to schedule an appointment, open 7-days a week (most locations), open until 7pm on weeknights, and more.
This not only results in a premier device repair, but, if our customer reviews or the New York Times are to be believed, one of the best overall customer experiences with any business.
To continue improving on that, another area we’ve worked hard to improve is our overall repair time. In particular with the various iPhone devices. This is important for two reasons: waiting just isn’t fun and you probably don’t want to be without your iPhone for any length of time.
Through a series of efforts, we’ve been able to whittle our iPhone device repair from about one hour to 20 minutes!
A common question people ask: “Why the name Jet City Device Repair?” Since we fix so many iPhones and iPads, people wonder why not something more Apple related like iDevice Repair or iSeattle Repair or iRock At Fixing Things.
Jet City Device Repair started in a basement in 2007. In 2008 it became a full-time business with two partners. The first employee was hired in the spring of 2010. Today we have over 20 employees at 6 stores in 2 cities and have fixed well over 100,000 devices.

What do those two things have to do with each other? Besides working constantly to find ways to reduce our prices, we’ve also offered several discounts over the years. Most of these have never been publicized so I figured now was the time to put them all in one place to help you, our customer, save some money.
About 18 months ago we announced that we were fixing Samsung Galaxy S3 screens – our first Samsung phone repair. Since then we’ve added the Galaxy S4 & S5 and Samsung Note 2 & 3. All of these repairs include the parts, labor, and a lifetime warranty. Most of these repairs can be done in 2-3 hours (same day repair service if you come into one of our stores).
In 2008 when we started this company we named it Jet City Device Repair. Then in 2012 we decided to shorten it to just JCD Repair, but after 2 years of people referring to it as JDL Repair, JTC Repair, JCB Repair, etc, we decided it was time to go back to something easier to remember. After all, even my mom was telling people the wrong 3 letter initials.
So I’m excited to announce that we’re back to the much more memorable Jet City Device Repair.
